Unfortunately it is true. Brett Ratner, the director of the Rush Hour trilogy and X Men: The Last Stand, is going to direct the new Conan film. You know, sometimes I just don't get how Hollywood studios make decisions. I mean come on! Brett Ratner? Seriously?I was really hoping that despite of all the ups and downs over the years of development hell, the new Conan film could be something really special as long as a visionary director, with respect for the material, was behind the camera. Now all I can do is cross my fingers and hope that somehow Ratner will not completely screw this up!
