Conan reboot to be directed by Brett Ratner.

Tuesday, November 11, 2008

Unfortunately it is true. Brett Ratner, the director of the Rush Hour trilogy and X Men: The Last Stand, is going to direct the new Conan film. You know, sometimes I just don't get how Hollywood studios make decisions. I mean come on! Brett Ratner? Seriously?
I was really hoping that despite of all the ups and downs over the years of development hell, the new Conan film could be something really special as long as a visionary director, with respect for the material, was behind the camera. Now all I can do is cross my fingers and hope that somehow Ratner will not completely screw this up!
